Precision alignment assembly (7)
The precision alignment assembly is a
delicate instrument. Handle with care.
Remove by doing the following:
a.
Push in meter rod (1) and hold
with finger. Slide lock lever
(2) to right to cover tip of
meter rod. Slowly release meter
rod until it contacts lock lever.
Disconnect spring (3) from bar
b.
post (4). Reconnect to storage
post (5).
Loosen clamp screws (9). Pull
c.
clamps free of base plate.
Remove alignment assembly.
d.
e. Rotate adjust screw (14) counterclockwise until push rod (12)
is even with alignment assembly.
