2-8. PREPARATION FOR MOVEMENT - Preparing the APPS for movement con-
sists of disassembling the system and packing the system components in
the carrying and transit cases. Refer to figures 2-8 thru 2-11 to en-
sure that the cases are packed correctly. To disassemble and pack the
APPS do the procedures given in table 2-5.

strates the locations of the instruction plates on the APPS. The opera-
tor must be aware of these instructions during equipment operation.

OPERATION UNDER UNUSUAL CONDITIONS
2-10. OPERATION IN UNUSUAL WEATHER - Accuracy of the APPS is degraded
when the system is operated in unusual weather. All possible attempts
should therefore be made to keep the system in a climate-controlled
environment. In locations where this is not possible, take whatever
measures possible to keep the APPS free from dust, sand, moisture, and
at a temperature of 55 to 85F (12 to 29C).
