Lamp Dimmer Maintenance Procedures

Bottom cover plate (1)

Loosen four screws and washers (2) and remove.

Dimmer (3)
Remove by doing the following:
a. Loosen set screw (4) and remove knob (5).
b.
Remove hex nut (6) and graduated scale (7).
c.
Slide dimmer through cutout hole.
d.
Disconnect and tag with destination labels wires attached to
dimmer leads.
e. Remove dimmer.
REPLACEMENT
Dimmer

Replace by doing the following:
a.
Connect wires to diMmer leads according to destination labels.
Insert dimmer through hole in front panel.
b.
c. Replace graduated scale onto dimmer shaft and secure with hex nut.
d.
Replace knob and tighten set screw.

Bottom cover plate
Secure to unit with four screws and washers.
