(11) Look into reading microscope eyepiece (fig. 2-1) and, if necessary, adjust position of illumination mirror
(fig. 2-1) for maximum brightness. Observe both the vertical (V) and horizontal (Hz) circle reading scales
indications (fig. 2-24).
