2-7. PRELIMINARY CHECKS - The following procedures should be performed prior
to troubleshooting the APPS system. T h e s e procedures will help to identify
the symptoms of any faulty components. A symptom index is provided in para-
g r a p h 2-10 as an aid in troubleshooting the equipment. Figure 2-1 identifies
the procedures to be performed.
a. Visual and Mechanical Checks - T a b l e 2-1 is a listing of visual and
mechanical checks for the APPS. R e f e r to table 2-6, section A to identify
those fault symptoms noted during these checks. If no fault symptoms are
noted, proceed to paragraph 2-7b.
