SCOPE .
This appendix lists expendable supplies and materials you will need
to operate and maintain the APPS. T h i s l i s t i n g i s f o r i n f o r m a t i o n p u r p o s e s
only and is not authority to requisition the listed items. These items
a r e authorized to you by CTA 50-970, Expendable/Durable Items (except
M e d i c a l , C l a s s V , R e p a i r Parts and Heraldic Items), or CTA 8-100, Army
M e d i c a l Department Expendable/Durable Items.

Column 1 - Item Number. T h i s number is assigned to the entry
i n the listing and is referenced in the narrative instructions to iden-
t i f y the material (e.g., "Use cleaning compound, item 5, App. F").
b . Column 2 - Level.
T h i s column identifies the lowest level of
m a i n t e n a n c e that requires the list item.
O - - Organizational Maintenance
c . Column 3 - National Stock Number.
T h i s is the National stock
n u m b e r assigned to the item; u s e i t t o r e q u e s t o r r e q u i s i t i o n t h e i t e m .
I n d i c a t e s the Federal item name and,
d . Column 4 - D e s c r i p t i o n .

e . Column 5 - Unit of Measure (U/M).
