EXPLANATION OF COLUMNS IN THE MAC, SECTION II.
a . Column 1 - Group Number. C o l u m n 1 lists group numbers, the
purpose of which is to identify components, assemblies, subassemblies,
a n d modules with the next higher assembly.
b . Column 2 - Component/Assembly.
Column 2 contains the names of
c o m p o n e n t s , assemblies, subassemblies, and modules for which maintenance
is authorized.
c . Column 3 - M a i n t e n a n c e Functions.
C o l u m n 3 lists the func-
( F o r detailed
t i o n s to be performed on the item listed in column 2.
e x p l a n a t i o n of these functions, see para. B-2.)
d . Column 4 - M a i n t e n a n c e Category.
C o l u m n 4 specifies, by the
l i s t i n g of a "work time" f i g u r e in the appropriate subcolumn(s), the
category of maintenance authorized to perform the function listed in
column 3. This figure represents the active time required to perform
t h e maintenance function at the indicated category of maintenance. If
