b. Set MAG-DG switch to MAG.
NOTE
Allow a 3-5 minute warm-up prior to making any adjustments.
d. Looking at course indicator 1, course indicator 2, or course indicator 3, check to see that the
magnetic heading on the scale dial agrees with a known magnetic heading (declination). The compass set
is then synchronized (electrically and mechanically alined).
