GENERAL INFORMATION
1-1. SCOPE - This manual provides direct support and general support (DS/(GS)
maintenance procedures for the Analytical Photogrammetric Positioning System
(APPS) AN/UYK-48.
1-2. MAINTENANCE FORMS AND RECORDS - Department of the Army forms
and procedures used for equipment maintenance will be those prescribed by DA
PAM 738-750, The Army Maintenance Management System (TAMMS),
1-3. DESTRUCTION OF ARMY MATERIAL TO PREVENT ENEMY USE - Destruction
of Army material to prevent enemy use shall be in accordance with TM 750-244-2.
1-4. PREPARATION FOR STORAGE OR SHIPMENT - Procedures to prepare
the APPS for storage or shipment are listed in TM 5-1260-206-12, Operator and
organizational Maintenance Manual for Analytical Photogrammetric Positioning
System AN/UYK-48.
