(3) Intermittent troubles. In all these tests, the possibility of intermittent troubles should not be overlooked. If
present, this type of trouble often may be made to appear by tapping or Jarring the equipment. Make a visual inspection
of the wiring and connections to the units of the component under test.
(4) Resistor and capacitor color code diagrams. Resistor and capacitor color code diagrams (fig 6-2 and 6-3)
are provided to aid maintenance personnel in determining the value, voltage rating, and tolerance of capacitors and
resistors.
